Our vision
Arangine, in partnership with TAICA CUBIC, where our partner pioneered Hydrographic Printing 40 years ago, developed a unique technology that floats a special water-soluble film with various printed patterns onto a water surface and transfers it using water pressure. Our Hydrographic Printing business has made a significant impact on the three-dimensional world in various ways. Its quality and design have been highly acclaimed and it is currently used in a wide range of fields, such as automotive interiors and exteriors, home appliances, and interior design.
Understanding the thrill that designs bring us, we strive for richer expressions by adding color to three-dimensional objects. As pioneers of Hydrographic Printing, we add new value to various products through our unique technical and design capabilities. It is the special joy and excitement that permeates our daily lives.
Hydrographic Printing was inspired by a single developer. Initially focused on the automotive industry, it enriches lives around the world. Invention – A Coincidence Develops into a New Technology Hydrographic Printing was invented in 1974. The journey began with a request to decorate a hair dryer with a pattern. While searching for a solution, a researcher took a medication, and when he noticed an oblate sticking to his fingertips, the idea for this new technology emerged.
Birth – Paving the Way for Printing on Three-Dimensional Substrates We developed a technology that allows patterns printed on a special water-soluble film, floated on the water's surface, to be transferred to materials like plastic. By harnessing the power of water, printing on complex shapes became possible. Additionally, by adjusting the type of ink, coating, and material differences, we achieved high design expression freedom. We have opened a new path in printing on three-dimensional substrates, where expression was previously limited. Growth – From General Merchandise to the Automotive Industry
Initially, Hydrographic Printing was applied to watches and general merchandise. As research and development progressed, the variety of expressions expanded, leading to unique designs being created one after another. What began with general merchandise has now extended to the automotive sector, household appliances, cosmetics, sports goods, and interiors.
